For landlords, we can advise on rental renewals and assessments. For tenants, we specialise in leasehold valuation and enfranchisement. Commercial leases usually renew every  we will recommend that both parties prepare well in advance of the deadline for a rent renewal to avoid any nasty surprises. Please note that economic circumstances can lead to rents being reduced; a renewal does not automatically mean an increase

Sales & leasebacks

There are advantages and disadvantages to property sales and leaseback arrangements. Often used commercially as an alternative to borrowing, it enables the property owner to sell and release a lump sum, becoming a tenant. This involves surrendering the existing one and renewing it under revised terms. Mediation

As an experienced third-party mediator we will conduct the negotiation process in the event of a dispute between landlord and tenant. Informal mediation will avoid the need for expensive legal processes, be quicker and often find a resolution that is acceptable to both parties but would not necessarily be appropriate through the legal process.
